Hey all, I joined BiggerPockets recently to learn more about investing and to network with people in a new area. The community has been a huge help and I look forward to using this resource in the future. Now for the pitch:

I have been flying radio controlled aircraft for about 8 years and recently started using a quadcopter with a mounted camera. Using this I can capture pictures and video with astounding clarity from the air of any property(as long as it isn't located in a jungle). From what I have found on the internet, other services charge between $900 and $5,000 for aerial productions of houses. I can keep that cost closer to the $300-$500 range since I do this on a much smaller scale. This kind of service is great for showcasing high end homes and homes with significant acreage, however it works well if you have multiple rental properties that you want to stand out. Would you rather have Zillow's bird's eye view that shows your house as a dot on a map, or a high quality aerial image? I can do bulk deals for property managers who want to make multiple properties seem more appealing just by getting a few aerial shows of each home. even if they are not high end properties, aerial shots make them look dignified and desirable, and they immediately stand out to prospective tenants looking for an attractive place to live.

Below is the most recent shoot of a home in Birmingham. From now until August 20th, I can do this in the Birmingham area if you send me a message. Past that date, I will be in Dallas for college and will only be available to the Dallas market. This is an ideal time for these videos to be made because the weather is sunny, and trees and lawns are healthy unlike the middle of winter. Please let me know if you are interested in this service. My email is [email protected] , Thanks BiggerPockets

Thanks, Joshua. I'm enjoying the site so far and have made several connections after being a member for only a few hours. It really seems like an amazing community. Thanks for your suggestion, Morgan. I'm already looking around to see which ones I may want to get involved with. Hattie, I'll be sure to give you my criteria when I get a minute. Thanks again for the warm welcome everyone.

Hi, I’m Beau Turner from Birmingham, Alabama, and I’m a brand new real estate investor. I’m 18 and my entire immediate family uses real estate as an investment/extra source of income. I just got into it a bit earlier than most. My home market is Birmingham, Alabama, but I am moving to Dallas, TX for college at SMU, so most of my deals will be there for the next few years, or even longer if I decide to live there. I mostly deal in rental properties and as a distressed property hunter, but that is a very unfair description since I have been in real estate less than a year. I’m eager to learn and my end goal is to be completely supported by real estate to the point where my life is “job optional”. I found BiggerPockets because of a post on the real estate subreddit (reddit.com/r/realestate) and I’m just looking to get a good start in the real estate market while I’m young and teachable. My first question to the BiggerPockets community is this: is the pro upgrade really worth it for someone like me?
