I'm new as well, we're in this together!

Thanks all for the warm welcome! A little more about myself - I studied Environmental Engineering in college, but currently work to help commercial office buildings get LEED and/or ENERGY STAR certified (mostly large, class A in Chicago, but also smaller/suburban and across the United States). I conduct water and energy efficiency analyses as well as airflow testing to ensure adequate ventilation in the project buildings. I am working towards my Professional Engineering (PE) credential in Mechanical Engineering (HVAC focus), which will take another year of work experience and an exam. I would be happy to offer any insight I can, just shoot me a message with details about your project.

I am so excited to absorb all the great information and connect with the vibrant people at BiggerPockets. I am a Sustainability Consultant working to make better run buildings throughout Chicago and the United States. As a new investor I am currently reading a lot to educate myself, but would like to close on my first deal (perhaps small residential) by early 2016! My goal is to scale up my deals and become an active contributor here once I get my feet wet. I like pizza, golf, whiskey and coffee in that order and am willing to take someone out in exchange for his/her stories. Cheers!
