Would love to attend the next.

Hartford gets a bad rap mostly because of the North End. Maple Ave is on the South End and while there is crime, it's nothing to be afraid of especially if just investing. Having said that, I did move out altogether to raise my kids and get more peace and quiet.

@Shirley R. curious as to why you go the buy + hold route vs flipping SFH.

I grew up in Hartford and know quite a few contractors including my brother around the area. I haven't used them yet on any investment properties because I'm still a noob looking for his 1st deal but I've used them on my current and last SFH. Shoot me a PM if you'd like to connect.

Thanks for the advice Karin .As you said most of those seminars are geared toward selling so when I do attend it will definitely be to meet experienced people.

Hello from Hartford, CT. I'm here to network and learn more about wholesaling real estate in general and also as it pertains to Connecticut. I've been researching for some time now and ready to get my feet wet. Meeting with a real estate agent/flipper and another buyer/flipper in my area to bounce some ideas off of. But I still believe here would be an ideal place to learn more about wholesaling. If anyone knows of any meetings/ networking events in CT I'd be interested to hear more.
