Welcome to BP Alex Gell. I'm also new to the site and live in north Pinellas county. I work evenings and haven't been able to make it to one of the local REIA meetings yet, what was your impression of the St Pete group?

Hey Brandon Turner thanks for the BP welcome. I've read both of the BP/J Scott books and I read the books by Danny Johnson and Marty Boardman after I listened to the podcasts.
I'm hoping to be active on BP and use it as you did to get started. Thanks for all you do at BP.

Mehran Kamari, I did a couple flips 15 years ago but it's a whole new world now.
Mike T., I thought the same as you about the REI's being built around selling programs. I plan to make a meeting at Suncoast and Tampa groups and see if there's a fit. I will let you know what I think if you'd like.

Wow Switzerland, are you from Clearwater? The Tampa REI seems to be the largest investor group in the area, if you make a meeting before I do please PM your thoughts. If I make it to the Tampa group, or any of the others, I'd be glad to let you know what I think.

My name is Brian Hunter from Palm Harbor in the Tampa Bay area. I’m getting back into real estate investing after nearly 15 years and I’ve found the resources in BP invaluable. The podcasts, BP member books and blogs are great learning tools and really appreciated.
My plan is to use the revenue from rehabbing homes in north Pinellas County to purchase buy and hold properties. I work evenings and weekends so I've been unable to network with any of the 3 or 4 REIA's in the Tampa area. If anyone can give their opinion on the local REIA's I'd appreciate the information so I can take time off and make a meeting.
I look forward to networking and continuing to learn from BP members.
