Hello,

Being a newbie to real estate investing I was wondering if everyone willing to share could explain how they got their first deal, tips to get your first deal, and anything else that you feel you should share? I'm in the Houston market, so if there are any of you in Houston, I'd really appreciate hearing from you.

Thank you,

Hello,

I'm interested in knowing if anyone knows of some great "investor friendly" real estate agents/brokers/realtors that they can refer me to? I'm new to real estate investing and ready to start finding deals and gaining experience. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated. Thank you in advance BiggerPockets community.

Thank you,

BiggerPockets Community,

Hello, and good morning. This is my first post and in my opinion, an important one. My partner and I, new to real estate, have formed an LLC, and we have some questions. Do we need to hire an attorney to make sure our LLC is in compliance to legally and safely operate as a real estate investor (operating agreement and etc.)? For our first deal, we are targeting the wholesaling and/or fix and flip strategies, do we need a real estate attorney on our team before making our first deal? Is there a specific attorney that can do both? Does everyone here have an attorney and if so, when did you add that to your team and why? If not, why not? I look forward to your responses and feel free to add anything of importance on the topic that I may have missed.

Thank you,

Hello BiggerPockets Community,

My name is Ben, and I'm new to BiggerPockets! What's brought me here is my desire to become a successful Real Estate Investor. I personally made a decision after being laid off twice as an Engineer, that I wanted to go the entrepreneur route and leave corporate America. I've always had an interest in real estate and decided that I wanted to learn as much as I can and start investing. I truly believe in real estate and feel with the right network and education that I can be successful and doing something that I really want to do. I look forward to networking with everyone here in the BiggerPockets community and being a "sponge" to begin with, soaking up as much knowledge as I can and hopefully, one day, being able to return the favor.
