Hello all.  I have just put a SFH on the rental market in the Henderson, NV area. This is my first rental property, and my first foray into REI. I am hoping it will work out and give me and the family a little bit of extra cash. I am not well-versed in all the terminology and calculations being mentioned here, but I am eager to learn. Does anybody here own a SFH in Henderson? If so, how has your experience been with renters, the market, etc? And if anybody here knows of anyone looking for a 4 bedroom home please let me know. Cheers, and thanks in advance for any insight.

I have just put a SFH on the rental market in the Henderson, NV area. This is my first rental property, and my first foray into REI. I am not local therefore I am not going to be able to do a drive-by to collect rent checks, and I really like the convenience of electronic payments, as that is how I am currently paying my rent at my primary residence. Any website/services that you experienced folks can recommend that costs the tenant and landlord nothing extra? Thanks!

I am eager to find something to invest in in Las Vegas areas.  I saw somebody mentioned the air force base as a great place to rent as the tenants are quite good.

Can anyone here help me find me a home?  I would like to use someone from this site who knows the Henderson/Las Vegas area and has a solid track record of sales.

Thanks folks!

Hello folks.  I too am interested in lending and was listening to the BP podcast today and I heard a plug for "RealtyShares", and it sounds like a good way to lend.  Does anybody here have any experience with them, and if not, how about lending to other BP people?  I am totally new to this, and want to start lending ASAP.

Cheers!

Hello folks! I've been listening to the BP podcasts all this week and have learned a lot, but feel there is so much more before I do my first deal. About me: 44, no debt, full time self employed with large chunks of time off between work trips (part of my reasoning for getting into this). My goal is to quit my profession within 5-7 years and live off rental income. Currently renting a condo. I am reading Rich Dad and Retire Rich with Rentals and really excited to get this all started. I'm very debt-averse after already giving banks way too much interest in the past, so my preference would be to purchase a SFR as my first property with all cash or limited financing, but this would be tough it seems here in SoCal with the insane prices. Anyway, thanks for reading and I hope to meet others and share and contribute and learn! Cheers, Kurt
