I am very familiar with North Branch. I live in Albertville, the other outlet mall city. I am mostly looking for SFH rehabs but am also interested in MFH rehabs as well. I am going to be renting my current home once my new construction home is finished and am looking for a lot of resources as I will be a first time landlord.

I see that they offer credit and criminal checks. Do you know of where I can get previous evictions checks done?

I am going to be renting my current home when I close on my new construction. I have a potential renter coming to look on Monday but the house won't be ready until mid-July. I have been speaking to PM companies and am now debating if I should use them with this renter (providing that she does rent it) or if I should tackle this myself. Also, what are some resources that I can use to do a proper screening of the tenant?

It's a Fannie Mae REO program through www.homepath.com.

MLS listings in both investor and buyer markets are flying off the market. I have seen 20 offers on one property within a couple of days. Being an owner/occupier should give you some advantage with the First Look program. I would maybe start there and use other resources that you find.
