Paul,

I see you're a Facilities Manager...I went to Mass Maritime for Facilities Engineering. I'll look out for you tonight.

James Vermillion thanks for the reply! I'm almost done with that article. I'm also diving into the podcasts...they will be a nice alternative to Boston sports talk radio on my work commute.

I'm planning on getting to my local monthly REIA meeting on Tuesday night. I'm looking to get my feet wet, meet some new people, and hopefully learn a thing or two.

Hey all!

So, like all of you, at one point or another, I'm new. I've always wanted to get into the real estate game, and I think now is as good a time as any to do so.

I'm 23, graduated a year ago with an engineering degree and I have a great job. I've made some investments so far (401 (k), Roth, stocks, life insurance..) but it's time that I start investing in what I've always wanted to...Real Estate.

I plan on spending the next few months delving into BiggerPockets...articles, forums, blogs etc...

I want to start with an owner-occupied multi-family, and branch out from there.

At this point I'm looking for any advice from the mavericks, the men/women who have been in my shoes at one point or another....Any and all advice would be appreciated.

Thanks, heaps!
