I have the same question about leasing a property from its seller. Is it possible to do so with a real estate agent involved?

I'll try to get my dad to add me to his, if not i'll try the other two credit tricks. One last question, have you had any trouble buying property as a recent college grad?

I'm doing the whole credit card trick right now. I have two credit cards, but they both have small limits, one has 500 and the other 900. Are you saying I should go and get a third credit card? The only credit I do have established right now is from these two credit cards, and according to you if I cancel them to get a high limit card I will be erasing all history that I do have. What is your advice?

Hi all, I'm new here to the forums and to real-estate investing. I've been doing my homework for the past 4 or 5 months and I believe I'll be ready to make my first deal sometime this summer. The problem I'm having is that I'm currently graduating college, and I don't have much established credit. My plan on building my credit was to go and purchase a few houses with my father who is also a new investor who has good credit. We would co-sign for the mortgage so that I could build my credit as well as build a relationship with the lender we go through. Do you guys think this is a good way to go about establishing my credit?

Thanks in advance!
