Did i just read where someone posted that owning rentals is passive income?

Passive income is income derived from investments that require no work

Example: CD interest

Great. Now you guys are putting them on utility poles where pole climbers can be hurt.
Did i just read where someone is putting them onto Stop signs & other road signs?

you guys have no moral compass at all.Why not advertise legally?

Please stop before you get a driver distracted & killed.

Am i understanding correctly that you aren't maxing out your retirement contributions?

If this is true & it's a matching 401k & you aren't meeting the matching maximum, they this is where you need to start.

If your employer matches 5%,then you need to contribute at least 5%.This gives you a 100% gain on day 1.

You must have missed the part where the guy is putting them up on the interstate & everywhere else with no intention of ever taking them down.Or the part where he was putting up 200.

He's wondering why no one has called..

Let me give you my viewpoint. Those type of signs make me think ,scam, shady, sleazy & get rich quick.I'm sure i'm not the only one who thinks that when they see them.

I see you are in Las Cruces NM..Here's your local sign ordinance

http://www.las-cruces.org/cd/Dev%20Codes/CH036%20-%20Chapter%2036%20%20SIGNS%205-18-06.pdf

35 pages long

Signs in Las Cruces must comply to the Sign Code. A sign permit is required for all types of signs within the City.

Las Cruces businessman Farrell Thurston, appears to be headed to jail for violations of the sign ordinance. I am not kidding. The Las Cruces sign ordinance was written so that the penalty for violation is incarceration in jail.

But, I don't think this blanket statement is correct.

$500 to you free no strings if you can find a state where putting snipe/bandit signs on the right of way is legal. When you find a state, let me know.I plan to fly in & put 1 on every stop sign, red light & mile marker sign.

I don't care what your local govt allows you to get away with.State law is state law! There's also federal laws that deal with putting them on Interstates like some guy said he did.

Well in 15 years the guy with 1m all cash property will still have his properties. With 80% financing, possible(probable) recession you may be the one crying in a few short years.

My logical thinking is we cannot lower rates forever.Sooner or later the bullet will have to be bitten & rates will rise to 7-10% range.

Banks have already drawn the purse strings almost closed even with the fed cutting every other week.

I welcome the day that my saving & frugal living will be rewarded with the interest rates my money deserves.

I don't do section 8 for the above reason.

I have a genetic defect in my brain that makes me angry every time i see these lowlifes who won't work in the store buying $12 lb steaks with food stamp cards.

I live in a small town & we have 4th generation welfare families living in some of the housing projects.

You guys don't even want to get me started on my beliefs on the new govt program idea i have called "Work or Starve"

It's not hostility,i just firmly believe that no book is gonna teach you even 1 life lesson.

It's called "common sense".You can have all the book smarts in the world but if you have no common sense you are doomed in the RE business.

RE is no place for these hippity hoppy people who bounce from 1 idea to another. It makes it tougher on the serious people.

First of all we need to know where you are.How much you make, how much you owe & at what interest rate.

What level of risk are you comfortable with, what type of person are you.How long have you had your job, your retirement contributions now, homeownership etc.How long married, children, are you a saver or spender.

Give us an idea of your overall situation.
