Does anyone have any recommendations on where to buy new/scratch&dent appliances in DFW? No used appliances.

I just bought my first investment property a few hours ago at an auction.  I'd love feedback on the online auction process.

If anyone has any tips or connections with private lenders in DFW please shoot me a message.  Also,  what are some alternative funding avenues? I'd like to stay away from hard money if possible.  

They work in the same area.  I've been using the same agent every time but I also hate to rely on all my leads coming from one person.  Obviously other than the ones i find on my own.  

I have always heard that you pay your bird dogs a finders fee. My plan is to pay the finder (licensed agent) a fee then use my own agent to buy and sell the property. When speaking with an agent today.. she mentioned it is illegal to accept the money. 

Is it illegal to pay an agent (bird dog) a "finders fee" in Texas if they do not represent you on the buy or sale?
