Post: Foreclosure documents

I'm very new to this...still trying to find my first house to invest in. The county I'm interested in has its records online, but I'm not sure what document type is filed when the foreclosure process starts. I can't find anything about Notice of Default or Notice of Sale. I don't actually live in the county I'm interested in, so I can't go down to the courthouse and look up the docs. Any suggestions on what to look up?

Hey, everyone! I can't tell you how much I am enjoying reading through all of your posts!! I am looking for how to start. I've seen other posts about getting started, and I guess all that I know is...
-want to flip the house (have no desire to rent)
-have very little $
-currently own a condo, but have only had it for about a year

I'm in central Ohio, and I'd like to stay in the area, but there are a few counties I'd be willing to make purchases in other than Franklin. Any advice, websites to go to, anything would be helpful. I keep seeing infommercials for different products to buy, but I'm hoping I can find everything I need for free on the internet. Am I right, or do you think I'm going to have to spend some $ to learn what I need to do?

Thanks in advance!!
