@Kim Whiteman Hi, thanks a lot for commenting. Really good to hear that have experience investing in the UK, near Manchester as well. I mean i have a lot of questions but i really want to know, because you have invested on both sides, is it much tougher to invest and understand the markets in the UK? I know brexit has had a big effect on real estate investors.

@Laura C. Yes would like that. I think if someone like Brandon Turner was to recognise this aspect then i think he could do/create something i guess. Otherwise, i think we just need to seek out as many investors within the UK and talk to them. Also, start more discussions that is more relevant to investing within the UK. The more people that see this and comment, then it should attract the community we need.

hey,

I'm fairly new to real estate investing. The podcasts, blogs and forum discussions are amazing however, a lot of the information applies to investing in America. Now i live in the UK and already have a sense that it is very different over here. I would like to know if there is a section on this forum just for UK real estate investors. If not, i would love to get to know some real estate investors/beginners in the UK or even better, in Manchester. I find real estate investing to be something i'm sure to dwell into. I know that to get involved in the community is the best way to learn. This leads me into a proposal i would like to make. Any real estate investors from the UK near Manchester who need a help in hand in possibly any labour work such as painting etc.. I would love to help for free just so i can get a hands on experience for what the process is like. Please reply if you would like to talk, i certainly do.

thank you.

Hi, I'm new to BiggerPockets and its such a wonderful community. I am so glad i came across this site. Im 19 years old and live in UK Manchester. I left college and currently do not go University. My mother is a full time carer for my father who has been diagnosed with MS ( Multiple Sclerosis). Now we have no income in the household and its pretty rough at the moment. I am currently working on a Social media marketing agency which should be up an running within less than a month but i have always been so interested in real estate investing. I would love to use real estate investing to make anywhere between £1000 - £2000 a month as i also want to use my time to focus on my social media agency. So starting out i need to choose a strategy that will suit my needs and what better way then to simply ask for some recommended ideas. So does anybody who maybe relates or understands my situation have any ideas on what strategies would be best suited for me? Thanks
