@Lionel Li  Thank you Lionel!  This is helpful information.  Ill check and see if that southeast area will work with my numbers. I'm glad your investments are performing well and you have had no set backs.  That is encouraging to hear.

Hi BP!

I've just finished a mentorship program to implement the BRRRR strategy in my chosen market which is Indianapolis. Part of my strategy is to get laser focused on one or two neighborhoods. I've watched YouTube videos, and listened to podcast about the different neighborhoods. 46218/9 and 46203 have peaked my interest the most. I'd like to get your insights, and experiences on these neighborhoods and maybe some others you are seeing growth in.

Also I'm am in the process of building my team and would love to makes some connections.  I plan on taking a trip out to Indy but in the spring when it warms up, fair weather Californian over here.

Thanks for taking the time!

Alyssa

@Andrew Holmes Thank you Andrew! I love the option of a partnership first and will do some research on that as opposed to jumping into an LLC. Appreciate the information on the loans too.

@Todd Rasmussen Thanks for the advice Todd. I have not started investing yet so I'm weighing my options. I'm thinking of starting with consumer loans and switching to an LLC a few doors in.

@Griffin Coxen Awesome I just found it on Amazon. It looks like he has another book on LLCs and Limited Partnerships that would be a good read for me too. Thank you!

Hi BP community!

Where is a good resource to find information about LLCs? What books/video/people should I look into. I'm considering creating an LLC with a family member and have lots of questions.

I would really like to get clarification around this point. I've heard of some say it's more difficult to get loans if you are applying as an LLC. Is this the case?

Thanks everyone!!

@Cody James Yes this is so helpful. I’m taking my top 5 cities putting them in a spreadsheet now and will analyze over the course of the next 6 months or more. Thanks for this!

@Anish Tolia I appreciate your honesty Amish, no worries I’m not going to melt with a bit of rain. I’ll have reserves at the time that I invest. Also I can tell you right now I won’t qualify for a conventional loan so I’ll be looking into creative financing. I can’t avoid all mistakes but I’m hoping to avoid all the ones I’ve come across here in BP. Thank you for sharing your perspective.
