Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone. I'm sure I'll be reaching out to a lot of you as I get deeper into this journey.

@April Sharp I'm still in the "education phase", so to speak, so I haven't done any deals yet. The strategy I intend to pursue is multifamily rentals. I've been wading through the MLS but the rent to price ratio doesn't work for most of them. Waiting to see how our global situation progresses and if it depresses prices in this market.

Hello everyone!

I'm a new member to the BP community. 27 year old engineer here in north Georgia looking to jump in (after learning a whole bunch) to the world of real estate investing. Assuming I work the same job and maintain my expenses where they are, with my current rate of savings I could be a millionaire by 55...but that sounds incredibly boring. I'd much rather put that money to use in the housing market and hopefully accelerate that timeframe by a few years. Looking forward to connecting with investors both local and afar and learning as much as I can while I'm trapped inside my home.

Hi, everyone. I'm an aspiring real estate investor trying to learn as much as I can while we're all locked inside our homes. My question for you all: After running the initial numbers on a property and determining it to be worth pursuing, what are some questions you normally like to ask the seller (or their agent) before going any further?

I can think of a few obvious ones, like what are the current tenants paying in rent (if it's occupied) or what major additions/renovations have been made to the property. Do you all have some more questions you like to have answered before continuing to pursue some opportunity? If so, how do you go about verifying those answers?

Thanks in advance for any and all responses.
