So while I was looking into Belize Real Estate, I noticed that Belize offers a retirement program. You can find the details here (http://www.century21belize.com/retirement-program/), but that isn't the purpose of this post. 

First, if you are thinking about retirement I would definitely recommend looking into some international retirement programs. From my limited knowledge on them, these programs seem like a fantastic opportunity.

Second, I wanted to reach out to the BiggerPockets community to ask what other retirement programs people know of that other countries offer. These seem like amazing programs for people looking to have a vacation home in another country, but I wanted to see if these programs are unique to certain countries or if you can find something similar in any country. 

I'd love to get some more information on what areas to invest in and what types of investments you make in those areas. And in reference to the rental rate information, I was wondering if there was any resource to see the average rent in different areas over time? This is a big problem I'm having with identifying where to invest in. I can find general cost of living statistics, but that is a bit too general for my liking. Would that be an accurate metric to go off of though?

This looks fantastic! Do you know anywhere I could find out more about the tax incentives? I see retirement programs with tax benefits, but I can't find any specifics as far as tax incentives that aren't retirement-related. 

Also, is there any info on rental rates over there? 

Sorry if these are "beginner" questions. I'm trying to find out where to look to find this information for other countries as well if that helps.

So I'm looking to learn more about international investing in general and investing in Belize specifically. I'm sure there are plenty of resources here to learn about the international investing generally, but I was wondering if anyone has any experience with investing in Belize? I found this site, but as you can see it's pretty barren in terms of investor information. So any real experience with investing or living in Belize is greatly appreciated. It seems like a great place to invest in as almost a vacation spot when you get older.
