Gotcha yeah, this kinda stuff is what I’m seeing. If I can scape or use power query on Zillow for free then great, but I think I’ll always have to pay something.

I can query now by building customer URL, grabbing the html, and telling power query which elements from the html to extract. The issue I have with Zillow specifically is that every URL to an address contains an unique identifier called a ZPID. Without knowing how to construct that, or how to find the element in the html, I can’t build a custom url for each address.

I hear you, I’m just trying to understand if they are able to do it (especially for $50), then I’d think I’d should be able to figure it out myself. I use Excel daily and am getting more exposure to power query. If $50 bucks can cover they’re costs, I know there’s a cheaper solution if I look hard enough. I’m trying to use my own skill set to my advantage.

I have a list of addresses. I'd like to pull in beds, baths, sqft, build yr, and lot size. Is there a way to do these lookups in bulk? Such as Excel Power Query, or an API?

Yes excel power query.  Others have done using it and Power BI. You can also pay someone on fiverr to do it very easily using code

Gotcha, where can I connect power query though? Seems like access to all the APIs/data costs a significant amount of money and that it’s cheaper to use prop stream. I just wanted to check to see if there’s a free data source to plug in the addresses and return the information.

I realized that Deal Machine now offers free skiptracing with the pro subscription. You can export the info too. Has anyone had experience with the quality of the skiptracing from them? I feel like there's gotta be a catch.

I have tried, and it doesn't work on a skip tracing capacity at least that was my experience a couple of months ago, the tech is growing so not sure now. You could probably find better luck on Fiverr to get you to skip trace those sites.

That’s what I do now. The guy can skip trace thousands of records in a few hours. I’d like to figure out how he does that so I can just do it myself

It looks like a database for deed transfers. I don’t see a way to locate phone numbers?

I was curious if anyone has tried to use use GPT 4 to search white pages and/or other sites for phone numbers. Would anyone know more about that? If I could have Chat gpt take a list of addresses and return potential phones, that'd be insane.

TheAu use realtyhop dotcom anyway as source
