Hey all, 

New agent/investor here in the Vegas area, as well as new Pro member to BiggerPockets. I've been a student of real estate for years and have recently returned from having lived in Japan for nearly 20 years to finally try my hand in the exciting Las Vegas market.

I'm hoping to meet all kinds of individuals here and hopefully lend assistance to others who share similar goals to myself.

Great thread and I think you point out a lot of important reasons to have optimism for the Vegas market. The introduction of an NHL team and possibly the Raiders as well will be huge boons to the Las Vegas economy as will the passing of Question 2 for better or worse in November. Housing inventory is already extremely low and homes over $600,000 finally seem to be getting some wind in their sails. I myself am a normally Tokyo-based business owner and real estate investor who recently moved here and gotten my real estate license solely to take part in this exciting time here in Vegas. It's great to see other like minded individuals here. Cheers
