Hello Guys! Local NH electrician looking to finally get my feet wet in the market. With my connections in the building trades I feel comfortable going after houses that could use some major renovations. Is wholesale typically the best avenue for those types of properties?  My shop is located in Middleton NH and looking for properties from Ossipee to Hampton.

Thanks AJ for the great advice!

Thanks so much Vania! I appreciate your kind words.

Hello All!
I am just in my beginning stages of investing in real estate and am wondering how I can best use my current resources s an Electrical contractor to better position both my Electrical business as well as start to grow my real estate experience.

I have just recently constructed a shop for my electrical business that has additional space I will be renting out to a local plumbing company so I will technically be a landlord for the first time! Woohoo. I have been looking at real estate as a great way to generate additional work for my electrical company as well.
being pretty new to real estate I don’t really know the best place to start. Do I use the equity in my current house to fund a small subdivision that my electrical company can wire , approach a bank or investors to get them on board.. anything I should watch out for? Anyone have similar experience ?
Thanks again and look forward to my new endeavor.

Hello Bigger Pockets community! I am excited to start my journey in Real Estate. I am an Electrician by trade and have run my own business for about 10 years now.As an electrician I have great first hand knowledge about how houses are built and function but that is where my real estate knowledge ends. I look forward to expanding my vocabulary and to start getting my feet wet!
