Anyone finding deals or foreclosures now? Or do you think the better deals will come closer to 2021 due to Covid19?

What are your opinions on percentage put down on primary residence? 20% and eliminate PMI? Or put down less and save/invest the money? And why?

Hi! Interested in what your opinions are on Babcock Ranch? Anyone seeing this as a good investment? I feel like that whole area will look very different in 10 years. It’s so new and niche it’s hard to justify as an investment. Also seems like it has limited exit strategies. But I love the idea of it and think it attracts a good amount of people.

What are your thoughts on Babcock ranch? Do you guys think it is going to be a good investment? I feel like that whole area will be different in 10 years but it’s so new it’s hard to tell. I worry that nobody will be interested in buying or renting in there because there will continually be new houses built.

@Johnny B Bad I’m interested in your thoughts on why new homes are such a terrible investment. We live in an area with a ton of new construction.

Hi everyone! My husband and I are looking to buy our first investment house. In our area there are A LOT of tract housing with gated and HOA communities. My husband works in construction and due to covid-19 the home builder companies are trying to liquidate their current inventory and therefore putting houses "on sale" with 2.8% interest. With it being a brand new build it doesn't seem we would need to worry about replacing anything for at least a few years. Does anyone have experience buying new builds? Curious if you have found them to be good investments?
