I haven't started yet but always have and will have this question in my mind. I would say with my full time job maybe 5 SFH and then I will think about the Property Management approach. I need to make sure I have a solid system in place to do so though.

Like your goal Bryan as it is inline with why I am starting this journey as well. I am building my second primary house in Little Elm and will rent the house I am living in now in Hurst for a start. From there I will start the  buy and hold process as much as I can in the DFW market!

What are you looking for regarding suitable financing ?

Hi All,

I was wondering if there are any active investor groups that meet up on a regular basis in the Mid-Cities/ North Dallas area. I am trying to start networking and join like-minded people taking the same REI path.

Thanks,

Asem

Welcome Mike to BP. I just started like you as well. I currently live in Hurst and am excited about REI.

Please feel free to connect.

Thank you Scott for the welcoming and the great advise. I will keep that in mind.

Thanks Kevin. I am in the same shoes you are in right now. I think the tough part is starting and building your plan. Once that is passed, maintaining it is the key.

Regards,

Asem

Hey All,

Any suggestions on what tool, website, resource to use to find very good handy men for my investment properties? Do you need to have many backups just in case when it comes to maintenance and handyman availability.

I am looking in the DFW area.

Thanks,

Asem

@Tim Watts

Thank you so much for the insight. I will need to check out the book then :).

I want to make sure I have a process in place where I don't start creating other jobs for me but a solid passive income.
