Hi BP,

I'm planning to start my first BRRRR in north Texas area. I'm looking for contractors who can help me. Any suggestions or references, please share it with me. I appreciate if you can share your experiences.

Quote from @Bruce Lynn:

It's the riskiest area of real estate.   While there is money to be made, something like 80% of the developers eventually go bankrupt.

Probably not a place to start, but a place to finish when you've made a ton of money in other areas of real estate.

Best way to learn is probably go to work for a successful developer in the area....Blue Star, Craig Hall, Trammell Crow, Hillwood (Ross Perot), Centurian American, Billingsley Company, Woodbine, someone like that.

These are the people who have been doing it for years and have billions invested in North Texas.

Actually, I would like to buy land and get permits from city and sell it to local builders. I don’t want to do or wait till the whole construction is done.
