I would say ash out refi, pay the loan back on the refi. Then you have the rest of the money to invest in other properties while still owning that original property, and receiving rental income. 

Sometimes you have to educate your significant other on long term investing. Its not that she doesn't want you to have ventures, she doesn't understand the timeline of acquiring a home and what type of value it will bring to your family. 

My mother is in the beginning process of purchasing a home in the Bronx, NY as an investment property. My question is would i be able to be an owner as well if I did not put any money down. Also, how would members start the actually business platform to where me and her are 50-50 partners?

Question? If i have an LLC in New York, am I able to still buy income properties in Baltimore, Maryland and put those assets under that LLC?
