Hello everyone,

I am a Canadian real estate investor and I am looking to break into the US. 

One of the biggest challenges most Canadians face is financing. Does anyone have recommendations as to which bank/broker to worker with as a Canadian?

@Arti Sood We are investing in Texas, Florida, Mexico, and Costa Rica...What I am getting at here is in all these different places, our structures are different in order to comply so we are not subject to double taxation! Do the boring work first, which is asset protection and business structure. Those dollars you initially spend in cross-border accountants/CPA and lawyer/attorney will be time and effort you won't have to spend in the future.


 I have been networking with a lot of accountants and layers to ensure I set up my structure properly. Definitely want to do it right the first time.

Hi everyone, 

I'm an investor from Canada and I'm looking to break into the US markets. The Canadian market has been out of hand for the past few years. After being priced out of multiple provinces, I've decided to look at investing in the US. I have a few states that I'm interested in(Texas, Iowa) but I'd like to connect with Canadian investors with cross border investing experience. What state would you recommend when you're just getting started?
