@Vijaianand Thirunageswaram Thank you! I just found them a couple of days ago and seem to be well-liked.

I know this question has been asked a million times but since we are 2 years out from Harvey maybe there are some new answers! Good contractor in Houston? Found a property that needs a total flip and foundation repair. Two prior investors let it go during option period so wanted to have a contractor come out and give an estimate of repairs. TIA!

Has anyone had success finding the Pre-foreclosure list in houston? The county clerks office says they only have the bank owned foreclosed properties. I’m not sure how else to get it. The websites that have been recommended on other posts seems to only have the foreclosure list for this city. TIA!

Thanks for the reply- very helpful. I'm just curious why you think an option property would not be ideal for my first property (high likelihood of not having a clean title and having to evict the tenants)? Also, is there any way to know ahead of time if the property will actually get auctioned that day? It does say on auction.com that this property is not cleared for auction yet.

First time poster and new member here. I am interested in real estate and have been casually checking properties including auction.com, but never found anything I liked. I just happened to notice on Friday that a property is going for in-person auction this upcoming Tuesday in a great neighborhood. I consider this property a less risky investment compared to others, which is important considering it would be my first property! I have very little time to do any research on this property, which scares me considering my knowledge base is so limited to begin with given that I have never invested in real estate before. My question is: does anyone know a fairly cheap and quick way (within 24 hours) that I can check to see if the title is clean? Also, any last minute advice going into this auction from others who are way more well seasoned than myself? TIA!
