windy patton has a great one in troy monthly friend her on here

so speaking back to the woman she just told me she has been through probate an has the house in her name but she has to draw up a deed they told her to print it out online an get it notarized an then i have to find out how can she then sale it to me.

Hi so this will be my first deal its a great deal but theres a problem because the woman selling the house isn't from Michigan, she's from Illinois. Her brother died in late march he left her the house she's been in and out of Michigan getting his paperwork together. Recently  she went to wayne county treasury to get the home in her name but just like her i don't know all the proper steps to make sure she has the right to do a quit claim deed. i just know she wants to be done with this and move on with her life. I need help so i can tell her what she needs to do next. Please help so i can get this deal done.

The house is in Detroit on the east side on the outskirts of east English village the area is ok it'll turn soon i believe but the street the house is on is great no vacant homes solid neighborhood. It's originally a 3 bed 1.5 bath 1 kitchen 1 car garage but the previous owner put a fourth room in the basement also finished the basement along with another kitchen down there so 2 kitchens, plus new roof, windows and cement within the last 2 years. i know this because i knew the guy personally.

HI i am a newbie based in Detroit Michigan, I'm looking for insight on good property managing classes that'll help me to learn about what i need to know paperwork wise. I'm just trying to do my best an learn about Michigan do's and don'ts as a landlord/property manager. I've used Google for a few things but i said let me go check with my people on BP. Someone here has or is going through my struggles. If you have any info please be kind enough to direct message me an I'll do my part an try to be some help to you if not now but one day. I truly appreciate anyone with some help pointing me towards a class or willing to chat an walk me through the list of things to acquire.

Thanks...

Hi to my fellow bp members so I’m 27 looking to get my first deal in real estate my question is. Should I buy a duplex, tri or quad as my first deal doing a live an rent an pocket cash right away or should I seek a partner to do a flip or buy a long term 2 year live in flip an pocket some money after the wait is over with taxes. I’ve been working at a dealership for a few years now so I qualify for a mortgage I make decent money I believe I could use the money in my 401k as a down payment that I may have to payback. I’m open to sound advice just trying to make a good decision. By the way my market is Michigan I’m a Detroit native yes property is cheap in some areas but don’t get it twisted Detroit has some areas with high value here also there are surrounded cities with great markets as well. Thanks I appreciate all the help from those who reply.

Hello everyone my name is Arthur, I'm new to the bigger pockets site. I've been an avid listener on the YouTube channel for over a year now. I've been listening, learning an taking notes on how this business is done an I'm on the road to becoming a landlord an learning how to run this operation correctly. I'm from the great state of Michigan an live in the lovely city of Detroit. My city is an has been on the turn around for some years now an is only getting better. I first learned about real estate at the age of 9 years old from a childhood friend on mine father. He had a big whiteboard in the basement with all types of goals an numbers an I use to just ask why an how he was going to collect this money an see these houses. He taught us real estate through monopoly an how to negotiate deals with one another. Since then I've always had a love for real estate but never had the funds. As I got older an more understanding I learned about the different Leander's an partnerships for deals. I'm 27 living in the city of Detroit MICHIGAN like most I'm so new I'm looking for a mentor who wants to spread their knowledge an needs some help with task they may not be able to do anymore from property management to viewing properties or managing deals an gc's, I'm a sponge I'm willing to learn an help with systems. I will do my part to deliver the task at hand an seek an find new opportunity. I'm into multi-family an want to learn how to flip an also mobile home parks there interesting. I'm a firm believer in the multiple flows of income. I currently work at a dealership an I also have have my own business doing windshield chip repairs, while learning how to evaluate an Buy deals. I'm getting ready to start going to my local Michigan REIA meetings an start networking hopefully find some good long term friendships.
