Hey everyone!

I'm a little late getting back to y'all, been super busy at the office. The coffee actually turned into breakfast and was a great time. I was able to use everyone's advice and I learned a ton! Also, the company is growing this year and he said as soon as they had an opening they would give me a call.

Again, thank you guys for your responses. It was all very helpful and I greatly appreciate it.

-Arren

Hello, not entirely sure if this is the correct forum or if allowed so please let me know if not (especially since this isn't directing tied to investing).

I have been trying to break into RE and trying to grow a network and meet with as many people as possible. A guy I know from college works for his brother's Multi-family investment company, we are grabbing coffee next week. I would just love some advice or good questions to ask when I meet with him. I am not expecting this to turn into a job opportunity but would also love to think of a way to inquire if they have any openings but to do so professionally. Any help is much appreciated!

Hello everyone!

My name is Arren Wells, I am a 27 year old senior financial analyst located in Dallas, TX ready to dive into the real estate world. Since graduating just 3 years ago and starting my career in public accounting, and then switching into a FP&A role I have realized that working in back office roles is not my passion nor my biggest strengths such as working with people and building relationships. Over the last year or so, I have been constantly turned towards an interest in Real Estate and have seriously started researching as much as possible. I know I want to get into the industry in both investing and helping people as much as I can. I have begun aggressively saving roughly 35% of my income to build a savings net to finally take the jump into making deals happen.

I finally came across BiggerPockets and am so excited to learn from this community. I would absolutely love to connect with anyone in my area or across the country to hear about your story and your own experiences. If you have any tips or questions feel free to reach out.
