Hey all. I searched for an answer here but haven't found it. If I missed it, please let me know.

I'm in the planning stages. What I would like to do is get a multi-family property and collect rent (gasp!)

But when the profits from the rent, i'd like to put them in a high interest savings account(1%) completely separate from my accounts. When the account is large enough, use it to purchase another property. So basically I don't want to take an income from the investment. Is there a way to avoid paying an income tax on the money since i plan to reinvest it 100%?

I understand that an LLC is just a passthrough. Is there a way to do this with an LLC? Or another corp? I do plan to talk to a paid CPA, but I just want to do some more research first.

Thanks in advance

I have a http://barclaysus.com account for our emergency fund(personal). It gets 1.0%. It's a savings not a checking though. They did give a 20% interest bonus this december since business was good. And it's online.

I 2nd public place. That will probably take care of of anyone wishing to do harm. I've done quite a bit on Craigslist (not realestate) and thats what I have always done.

You can do a crazy simply blog on Google's Blogger. then there is Wix for a website. If you search Google, you can find free hosting and such as well. But for business, its not that expensive to pay for it.

You say you don't want to use a lot of ink, but your looking at an ink-jet printer. Laser-Jet saves money in ink, but cost more upfront. If your looking for a long term solution, it may be worth it. Also, having color cost more to upkeep than B/W as well.

All depends how much you print. Personally, I don't buy anything HP. Their printers are better than a lot of their other products, though.

If you really want to save on ink, make sure the model you get is compatible with those ink refill stations at drug stores.

Maybe it depends on what was in collections? If it was all utility bills for example and the guy never had a loan or a credit card, then there would be no credit history. I believe. But you say he had credit history. I know I had a credit score after my first year of having a small credit card. So i'm not sure, just offering a possibility.

Whatever score you get is going to be a ballpark score, not exact. You can pay for one, or you can go to CreditKarma.com and see yours free. Gives you a good enough range. There also another site called Quizzle.com. I have used CreditKarma and its a good bit of ads, but legit. And dosnt hit your score.
