Hey BP Members,

So I have a little dilemma on my hands. I am moving out with my sisters in the next few months and I'm torn between trying to buy a house or renting one. I'm sure we could gather up enough cash for a down payment for a single family home but my thing is I see this as an opportunity to possibly turn the (if bought) house into a rental property in the next few years.

Feedback on my situation and suggestions would be MUCH appreciated. :)

Thank you Roy! I rent an apartment in the downtown area but for the most part was raised in the West-End/St. James area. I really appreciate your response though and thanks for the heads up! 

Hi! My name is Aric, a few months ago I was searching for new information on Real Estate Investing and happened to stumble upon this site so I figured I'd give it a shot and sign up.

I haven't been all that active but I've decided to change that. Im brand new to real estate investing, actually wouldn't even consider myself an investor yet but more so an "aspiring investor", I am looking for useful information and some sort of guidance from individuals who have walked down this road before! Before investing my money into real estate I want to invest my time into learning the ins and out so I would LOVE to hear from some of the members from this site and hopefully build relationships!
