Hi All,

I have been learning about wholesaling and buy and holding real estate for about a year now, but had to put it on on, until now. I am in Indianapolis, and would it be a good idea to locate a good mentor or learn here on bigger pockets. If you believe a mentor is best, any good recommendations?? Thank you so much!

Hey Indy investors

I am also in Indy and want to learn more about real estate investing. Would anyone be willing to take a little time to talk to me?

A wealth of information. Thank you so much.

My husband and I can do another mortgage on a

new property but after it's all said and done paying mortgage and other expenses

paying taxes, income taxes and etc is it really worth it?

I guess now I feel alittle over whelmed by all this info and not sure if buying and holding is the best strategy. What is the best strategy for low to no money down? I know I'm all over but just trying to get a grasp on some of this. I am def listening to podcasts and reading as much as I can here on bigger pocket.

thanks so much everyone ...you are are so helpful.

How do you fund your deals for buying and holding? What is the best way to find private lenders, and do private lenders generally to long term loans?

Those that do buy and holds, how do you judge if a deal is a good deal? Do you compare the property with other properties in the area, or do you use a formula? Also, are there laws to be aware of in the state you live in when investing, such as buying and holding?

thank you guys :) I have not considered hard money or private money. But with having  4 conventional mortgages in your name, doesn't that effect your debt to income ratio and put a negative mark against you?

Also with hard money, do they only do short term loans or do it depend? Would you need an exit strategy if you are buy and holding?

Hi

I have our primary residence in my name only, and we were thinking about buying a home in my husbands name only and renting it out, but I would also like to be able to start buying and holding.I am new to this strategy of buying and holding. How are some of you funding your properties if you have a mortgage in your name already? Can that be done? Are you paying cash for the properties? Thanks
