We are closing the month on a project on 5th street near Girard and need to demo the existing property.

The building is around 3,300 sq ft.

It shares a wall on one side and is free standing on the other.

Any recommendations for a good demolition crew?

Thank you,

Adam

Greetings everyone!

I'm looking for a real estate attorney for a property in Falls Church, VA to help my girlfriend with with an ongoing loan issue.

She was a victim on old balloon payment/adjustable rate loan originally through BofA that caused her mortgage payment to triple back in '09, leading to non-payment.

She was a part of a class action lawsuit and was advised to not pay her mortgage. This case was ongoing until 3 months ago when the law firm became unreachable and practically disappeared in the middle of filing a loan modification.

She was able to complete the modification independently with Nationstar, and was offered $3,800 mo. payment beginning April 1.

This is too high of a payment, are they any RE attorneys with any advice or information to lower this payment and keep the house?

Regards,

Adam

Thank you everyone for the words of wisdom.  Looks like the only recourse is eviction.

Thank you for all of your prompt feedback!

I'm writing on behalf of my girlfriend (currently residing in California). She owns a property in Falls Church, VA. and a tenant is refusing to pay rent. The tenant will not respond to any communication from my girlfriend. The tenant was reached by a third party last week and agreed to pay rent as well as a late fell. However, this tenant has not complied. The tenant states that they are moving out at the end of the month, however this was never given in writing. We afraid this tenant is going to stay indefinitely and will refuse to pay rent. Beginning eviction precedings is difficult considering we are on the other side of the country.

Are there any other steps that can be taken?
