I’m based in the Bay Area and looking for an investment property in the Fresno area. I’m specifically interested in good zip codes for a long-term rental single-family home.

Additionally, I’d appreciate insights on new homes in Madera (93637 zip)—how easy or difficult is it to rent them out?

Budget: Up to $450K
Down Payment: 30%

Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance!
Anurag

Hi @Account Closed  There are many good resources on BP that can help you out on your goal of buying out of state investment properties. I started out of state investments September last year and bought properties in Kansas and Indiana. So far so good.  Love to share my little knowledge and connect you with right people if needed.

Joe Koppel you surly need inspection from third party when buying a Turnkey property. PM me know if you need reference in KS. Also do not rush for Appraisal before the inspection is completed in case you are doing financing.

Looking for Buy and Hold Strategy but love to invest in Oakland for appreciation.

One minor issue :) is the price difference $615,000 Median Price in Oakland and $130,000 in Indianapolis.

Will welcome any suggestion!!!
