Hi Bruce,

The water came up thru the city main when the sewers reached capacity during a recent storm. I was told the only was to stop this from happening is by installing a check valve in the sewage main to prevent back flow during a storm.

Wondering if you could recommebd other options?

Hi,

We recently had water backup come up from our floor drains in the basement. I would like to get a check valve installed in the sewer line to prevent this from happening again. Can anyone recommend a good plumber or contractor who can do this kind of work? I live in Rogers Park Chicago.
