John

Did you ever find a title company that would do a double escrow?

@David Dachtera

No, I'm not any relation that I'm aware of.

You are correct, I was not planning on buying and holding.  I'll look into an S-corp.

thank you for your response

Hey there

I'm new to investing and wanted to ask a few questions about how to go about things. First, if I'm only doing this part time, do I need to set up an LLC to start investing? Is it the better thing to do? I'm not currently interested in renting, just buying and selling

Second, does anyone know the laws in illinois in regards to a double escrow?  Is it OK to use funds from a buyer to giver "cash" to a seller (A>B>C transaction)?  I found some funding sources online (from sifting through some BiggerPockets forums) and wanted to know if anyone has a good funding source for deals like this. Are there other lenders where you don't have to do a back-to-back closing?

Thanks for any help you can give me
