@Mike Hurney my main goal is putting myself in a position to be able to learn, becoming a member of Bigger Pockets was a step in that direction.  Meeting people who are successful at what I want to do and be a sponge(mentor).  Next goal that follows would be to rip the band-aid off and pursue my first investment whether it be myself or a joint venture.  Timeline not sure I have one, I wish it were today or tomorrow I am actively trying to learn and make a move as quickly and as confidently as possible.  

If you wouldn't mind the newness at your meeting tomorrow it might be great just to listen.  

@Scott Steffek Hey my man I truly appreciate your message!  My wife is from Lowell Indiana and we were just floating around Crown Point over the holidays!  I have a friend that lives in Schererville, IN who has just started doing some wholesaling.  I just had an hour phone call with him on Tuesday asking how I can contribute.  Thanks again and I will definitely reach out with questions.

Hello Bigger Pockets!

My name is Anthony Sullivan, I reside in Arlington MA and work as a realtor with Realty Executives in Watertown MA. I am as fresh as they get when it comes to the world of real estate. My grandfather is the one who sparked the interest in RE with his savvy ways in which he acquired his investments. I, unfortunately am caught in the "rat race" and swore 2017 will be the year I change my life.

I left the cooperate world as medical sales representative and began this journey into RE in September 2016. I am 32 recently married and HUNGRY, hungry to learn, hungry to listen, hungry to work hard and change my life. From what I've read the best way to start is with a "why". My why is simple, the greatest gift on earth is life! Unfortunately like myself most people live to work forgetting to enjoy this gift not understanding that it could be taken away from us at any moment. I don't want to spend my greatest gift working every day having nothing to show for it and very little chances to enjoy it. I want to have a family and be able to present in their lives forever and live life to its fullest. I decided to embark on this journey without looking back and I am willing to do what it takes to get there.

I know you can't do anything without understanding exactly how to do it. So I've picked up some books to learn, I've read "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" and it lit a fire under my butt, I am on to "Cash Quadrants". The more I learn the more excited and motivated I get! I am not looking for handouts and I am not looking for favors I am looking to work hard pay my dues and learn along the way.

Bigger Pockets is what started this new revolution for me. While driving home from the Holidays Indiana to Boston my wife and I listened to 14 hours of Bigger Pockets Podcast! From the podcast is where I got all my reading material. Now I am here to be a member get in the community and start my path on to a better way of life.
