@Jaycee Greene, I have to learn more about house hacking to take a deal like this. Also assuming this deal would have little ARV. My biggest concern with house hacking is giving up my primary residence. Please let me know if I'm thinking of this wrong.

Hello @Jaycee Greene, thanks for the welcome. Initially I'm looking to stay under 5 units. I haven't determined my price point yet as I'm still researching hard money lending and DSCR loan products. I have amassed a decent network of vendors, so definitely looking at fixer uppers.

Eventually, I hope to grow my portfolio to acquire commercial loans for multifamily deals, I haven't started purchasing investment properties, only have my private residence. Looking to utilize my equity as necessary as I purchased during the onset of COVID before the prices skyrocketed.

I am excited to be a part of the BiggerPockets community! I've had a keen interest in investing for as long as I’ve been involved in real estate. After gaining some home equity, I sought to pursue my investing goals. So I picked up a few books which includes, "The Book on Investing In Real Estate With No (and Low) Money Down," and "The Book on Rental Property Investing," both by Brandon Turner, which introduced me to the BiggerPockets community.

With a decade of experience in property management under my belt, along with my property management certifications and an NC real estate broker's license (with Broker-In-Charge designation), I'm eager to leverage my background to secure long-term financial stability for my family. I'm particularly drawn to implementing the BRRRR strategy. To deepen my understanding, I've also picked up David Greene's book on the topic.

I genuinely look forward to connecting with seasoned investors in this community and learning from their real-life experiences.
