I'm currently looking at making an offer on a duplex in Lithonia, GA. Which is about 20 minutes outside of downtown Atlanta. The property will require some considerable rehab. I am curious to know if anyone here has any good recommendations for reliable and cost effective contractors they've worked with in the past. I'm currently looking at making an offer on a duplex in Lithonia, GA. Which is about 20 minutes outside of downtown Atlanta. However, before I jump the gun and have to end up scrabbling to find a bank, mortgage company or broker that will work with me as an investor. I thought I'd ask you all if anyone investing in or around Atlanta might have some good recommendations for lenders they've worked with in the past. As I'm currently an active duty service member in the Air Force, I was considering using a VA Loan and was also wondering if anyone knew of any lenders in the area that offered VA Rehab loans. Hello everyone! This is my first post on BP, so I look forward to hearing what kind of advice you all have to give. I'm currently in the process of analyzing a potential rental property I'd like to make an offer on in the Atlanta area. However, I would like to get some more information on the property itself, since I'm not in Atlanta at the moment and can't visit the property. The listing agent is not returning my calls or responding to my emails. I've checked to make sure the property is still available and it doesn't appear to be pending closure. If anyone could refer me to a good buyer's agent who has experience working with investors in the Atlanta market that I might be able to contact and see if they can get in touch with the listing agent, I would greatly appreciate it.
