So my grandmas house is in a great gated neighborhood but she recently passed the house needs a good amount of rehab. If it can’t sell unfortunately it will go under foreclosure. Any advice on what to do? Would love to have it in my name somehow and use as rental or just sell it to a cash buyer to pay off the bank.

Awesome man thank you!! Excited to get started:)

Hey guys!! Im looking to become a real estate agent in California. Incredibly excited to start taking these steps into real estate my main goal is to become an investor and I really want to fully embrace myself into this industry, getting to know every aspect of it. I don’t make a lot of money currently but I sure as heck have the drive to do so. I’ve done a ton of research read a ton of books and have ultimately decided being an agent is for sure the route I want to take getting my foot into this awesome world. Can anyone recommend a great online course to get my license for the state of California it would be really helpful 🙏🏻

You would know more than me but seems like just using a free application or a very low monthly app can make the difference if you don’t have a PM for your properties but ya just test the waters with each one hopefully one works better for you and your personal preference. I appreciate the feedback! I love learning about all this stuff!

Have you tried looking into app folio? Seems to be a popular one amongst rental property owners.

What are you interested in specifically?

Ya I just finished the rental property investing by Brandon absolutely loved it definitely will be checking out more BP books. Mostly interested for this year in acquiring a small multi family home to house hack and just get my foot in the door. Eventually though I’m seeing a lot of benefits in commercial real estate and start diving into something bigger like that.

What kind of real estate investing are you most interested in?

I’m mostly interested in small multi family or even jumping into commercial real estate. But step one is acquiring that small multi family to house hack is going to be my goal for the next year! Thank you for the feedback will definitely be checking that out👍

Living in so cal right now and it seems like a lot of success is happening out of state. Is investing in rental properties in other states a better option? Or can I make California work with just a lot of research and analyzing to find a great deal, seems like that’s all it takes. Finding a great deal!! Or would most say that it’s just whatever is working best for you?
