Likely you will need to do electrical heat pumps given new building codes. My current project is 4000 sf also with 3 units and it will be $52k for the HVAC (heat + cooling) for the property.

This is awesome info thank you! Do you have a specific model for the electrical heat pump you used? Also with the electrical heat pump does each unit have separate control that’s billed to their own meter? Sorry if that’s a dumb question just trying to get details before I talk to builders

Hey all,

I just acquired land in Boston and plan on building in the spring.

My question is, whats the HVAC system to use that provides separate utilities, and separate control per unit.

What pricing is to expect? It’s in Forest Hills for more content and i want some form of framework in mind before talking to builders.

Each unit is about 1,000 sq feet totaling 3,000 livable.

Thanks in advance.
