Good Evening BP, I am currently browsing Vista Print looking at the information they require for business logo creation. One of their questions puzzled me. It asked, "Who are your main customers?". I would assume this is related to the particular demographic you are marketing towards. My question for you, my BP family, is this: What is the primary demographic for real estate investors within the realm of wholesaling? If not wholesaling, then real estate investing in general? Thanks in advance!

Good evening folks, I'm looking to possibly meet with local investors in the St. Louis County area. I could use some intelligent guidance and fellowship if possible. If there are any clubs or groups that are nearby it would definitely help. Thanks!

Good afternoon everyone. I am beginning to pursue wholesaling as a start to my REI career. I found a home next door that is vacant with no sign in front. I did some research (visited the county assessors website, Zillow, etc) and found out it is not on the market. I also have other pertinent information as well. I need help figuring out what the next step is. Do I call the owner or find a buyer first? Do I go by the assessed value or the appraised? Do I need an LLC first? Help would be much appreciated!

@Dave Van Horn this is probably the shortest, yet most profound, advice on this thread. Please explain?

Good afternoon everyone. As I have stated before in my initial request to join BP, I am a real estate novice looking to increase my knowledge in the business. My wife and I are working on becoming licensed real estate agents at the moment. In the mean time, I need some advice on a possible intro to the industry. I discovered a Craigslist ad from RX Marketing and Holdings LLC based out of CA. They specialize in Wholesale real estate and are looking to hire Property Scouts for vacant homes. They will pay around $5-$10 for qualified findings and will pay min. $500 after the acquisition of the property. What are your thoughts? Is this a "GO" or a "NO-GO"? Thanks in advance.
