Hello everyone I would first like to say thank you for this amazing platform and everyone that contributes to make it so much greater. I am interested in Buy and holding multi family and small apartments using the BRRRR method in the Louisville-Lexington area of Kentucky. That is about a 80-90 mile stretch east to west for those of you who don't know. I am a newbie and looking for any and all help , I have already took a deep dive into the bigger pockets website and would like to connect with other like minded investors. Please don't be afraid to ask any insight about Kentucky as I will share as much as I know and point you in the right direction.

Hi All,

I'm just starting out this journey with a friend of mine who is a realtor. We have money lined up and about 140k to start between the two of us. Currently in Los Angeles and that kind of cash doesn't go far. My first question is, how do you look for a market that you are not living in? What factors go into that decision? Thoughts on where we should start? We want to flip about 3 or 4 a year plus buy and hold 1 or 2 duplexes. I'm excited to be here and learn.

If a home have a negative est. equity and open loans and reverse mortgage and should I run quickly..😊
