I'm also looking to connect with someone in the Pasco County area.

I've been seeing a lot of properties however I've not been successful in making a purchase therefore I'm searching tax records looking for absentee owners. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Tony

I've heard of a member named Wil Bernard and that he has a blog. Where is this?

overs the cons are minimal.  The pros are that depending on the housing authority your contracting with you can make a bundle. Case point. I had a 5 bedroom home in Katy, Texas 77449 zip code. I contracted with Houston Housing Authority.  My rent paid direct deposit to e was $1515.00 per month. My note on the home was $1040.00. I also buy HWA home warranty on my homes for $600.00 per year. This stops the phone from ringing.  The tenant is responsible for 1st $75.00 of any minor repair. Major repairs I took are of however the warranty covers almost everything. Get yourself a contract that the realtors use to help with terms of the agreement.

Hope this helps.

I need to find new properties in the under $20,000.00 to pay cash. I sold two of my homes and the last closed on 12-31-2014. I've been looking in Waller and found a couple however they didn't look worth more than the land value let alone what they were asking. I've dealt a lot with section 8 over the years and I can answer a it of questions about it. Please feel free to reach out of me.

How about a short term lease. I rented my house out for $100.00 a day for 3 months. I had a realtor do a cooperate lease on the property while the tenant was having his new home built. I know your frustrated however I was too and that extra 3K sure did make some things better.
