Hi Greg - no, all occupants are joint tenants on the same lease.

Hi all, a tenant has asked for us to install a lock on the bedroom they have chosen in a large single family house (lease is 1yr, joint tenants). Are there restrictions against this, or conversely is there anything requiring that we do install a lock? The property is in Dorchester.

Hi all,

I've owned a 2 unit multifamily for almost a decade in Waltham, MA and last year I took on a more like-minded partner and we've picked up 2 more single family properties. We've done all the property management and accounting work ourselves, however I'd like to start bringing in the pros to handle the accounting so I can work more on re-financing these deals and finding more opportunities. I have a full time job as a data engineer, and I consult for a home remodeling business so there is not a lot of time to waste!

Been listening to the podcasts, and there has been a lot of good info there and here lurking in the forums.

Looking forward to some good conversation!

Best,

Anthony
