Hi everyone,
My husband and I are lining up our potential 1st flip (thank you so much for all your help so far!) and now we're starting our research for General Contractors in the LA area.  Came across Eden Builders in the San Fernando Valley - anyone have experience working with them?

Any recommendations are absolutely welcome as well. Thank you very much in advance!

@Isaac Blocher definitely know where Conrad's is :) I'll email you and we can connect in June!

Thanks and looking forward to meeting you in person!

Hi everyone! My husband and I are looking to get started in RE Investing. We live in the Glendale/Pasadena area.  Would love to join the meetup :)

@Isaac Blocher, you're in our neck of the woods - would you be interested in getting coffee, perhaps at Porto's? My husband and I would be interested in discussing Hard Money / Private Funding our potential first fix and flip in the LA market.

Thanks for the reply @Jo-Ann Lapin! What documents would investors need to gather together before we come to you for a funding proposal? We want to make sure we're lining all our ducks in a row!

Hello everyone! My husband and I are potentially looking to purchase and flip a great property in LA through a personal connection. The area has great comps and we would buy well below retail value before the rehab.

Do you know of any HMLs in CA who will finance 70% ARV for new investors? If so, what would investors need to provide them to fund the project?

This is going to be our first deal - we would welcome advice from more experienced investors here at BP.  Thank you in advance!

Thanks for the input, @Ali Boone! Living by the water sure is nice - I think if turnkey investing is letting you live where you wanna live, you're already winning.  If you were to buy a place in Venice on the water, you'd pay north of $1million for a small shack easily!

Thank you, @Mike D'Arrigo - and yes, I will PM you about out of state investing! Any additional resource couldn't hurt :)

Thanks @Karim Karawia! Good luck with your four-plex! I work in Manhattan Beach and know it's definitely an expensive area for real estate.  If you land that four-plex, I don't think you'll have much problem keeping the property rented.

BTW, Do you have any recommendations for lenders in the area?

Hello all! I'm not sure if i'm putting this in the right area - my husband and I are potentially interested in meeting with a lender in the LA area - preferably someone with experience working with 1st time investors in multi-family properties using FHA and/or creative funding. Do you have any recommendations?

Thank you for pointing us in the right direction!
