Hi, I am looking to connect with REI in Salem area. I will be down next weekend, and many thereafter. Anyone want to chat? I am looking MFH only. Thanks, Anna

Hi Andrew,

Not shy, but not a MFH owner either - yet! Just getting into the market there. I am in Seattle. I have tried Cincy for MFH, then realized I have oppty closer to home. Will be coming down in a couple of weekends to start learning. Do you have a meet up? Thanks, Anna

Thank you, JD. This is the kind of example I was hoping for! Also, Alexander, I would love the link to your blog post, too.

BP people are simply the best!

Thanks, gentlemen. These examples really help me understand if the BRRRR method is what I want to do going forward. :)

I have a question re: BRRR.

When you borrow money from your property to buy another, it seems that you depend on the rental income to make the payment for you. Thus, you will have to pay the expense if you are vacant. If I am understanding that correctly, does the BRRR strategy work mostly as a way to accumulate property, and not as a way to earn income from that property?

Thanks for clearing this up for me.

These are great notes, thank you everyone! I will discuss these options with my partner. I agree, Charles' advice about learning to control w/o using your own money has stayed with me. What's the fastest way to become a millionaire in real estate? Start with ten million!  :)

Thank you, Will. I agree with you completely. The goal of a million in five years is a dream outline. I am most interested in which parts of REI folks think would generate money most quickly. My guess of flipping has been confirmed a few times. Now, to choose where to flip!

Thank you, David. That is what I was thinking, too. It does seem to be the most straightforward. Do you see opportunity for that in your area?

Great suggestions, everyone. Not ready to buy that commercial property, but I appreciate the offer.  :)
