Post: Manufactured homes

Hello all. I’m currently looking at a 3 bed, 2 bath Manufactured Home built in 2003. The listed price is $360K (Salt Lake City, Utah). It is on permanent foundation and located in a cul de sac a few minutes from downtown. The comps are price similarly with $10k-$20k variance.

I have a few questions:

1. Will this manufactured home APPRECIATE?

2. What am I looking at for maintenance costs long term?

3. What is the typical lifespan of a MH?

Thank you in advance!

Hey guys! What is your opinion on the Utah Housing Market Bubble? Do you believe it will burst soon or not and why? I’m trying to get an idea of how to time my investments.

@Brittney Peabody

That’s good to hear! Thank you! I really wish I got into the Utah real estate market a few years ago. I’ve thought of the idea of wholesale real estate. Are there any resources that you have that could take me through the details of closing a deal like that?

Hello all. I currently have approximately $1,300/month of income not invested in any market or real estate. I currently have $5,000 in capital that I am looking to invest in to real estate. My question is: what are the best starter options for me as a new investor? What are some markets/areas you have seen? (If not Utah specific your feedback is still much appreciated)
