@Kris Laku I’m from CT and kind of in the same boat. I’m just trying to read and inform myself as much as possible to make a sound decision. I do understand a mistake is a lesson, although I’d just like to be as informed as possible. Maybe we can bounce information off on another ?

I've been researching BRRRR for quite some time. Ive read several books, forums, podcasts etc. I'm wondering if any of you would share any checklist you use for contractors, agents, pms, etc. anything you go by tried and tested to ensure a job complete.

@Jason Shackleton thank you yes indeed. And these mortgage breaking fees any how you can explain a little more I’ve never heard of such ?

@Jason Shackleton

Thank you for your advice I'm a little confused now though. Maybe I'm mistaken but I read somewhere that it's harder to get loans through a LLC without documented profits from the LLC to guarantee the loan ?

@Sean Pan I have money saved and money in 401k and such that can be taxed to take out... but not that amount of money to go in with hard money lenders. I have one multi family property right now but not enough equity to cash out refinance.

@Stephanie P. Great advice I appreciate you !

@Chris Platis

I’m here in ct and they have to be behind six months or more. My tenant has been working and had to testify that in court. During mediator said there was nothing she could do because it had not been six months. So she told me I’d have to take it to trial. I did and won. A declaration would have to be filled out with employment or loss thereof in ct it does anyways.

@Chris Platis I just recently won a case because the tenant was a serious nuisance. I’m pretty sure that’s the only way to evict unless it’s over six months or the tenant wasn’t affected by Covid.

Hello all!

I'm an entry level investor who has been reading on the BRRRR process for quite some time now. I'm interested in starting with hard money lenders. I'm looking for any related information and view points from experiences. I'm particularly interested to learn more on calling the loan. Any advice and tips are greatly appreciated.

One hand will for sure wash the other!
