Hey BP, I have a client looking to relocate to Florida.  (I'm assisting him in finding a rental here)  However, He has a home in North Providence, RI that he is certain is upside down and has not paid the mortgage for about a year although it appears that the foreclosure process has not  been started at this point.  My first question is... Is there anything that can be done to help him aside from a short sale?  Second:  Is there a local investor in North Providence, RI experienced with this type of situation who would like the referral?

Is anyone having any significant success purchasing condos as rental properties in South Florida?
