This Is all great advice and it has definitely given me some direction. Additionally, I know Investing in NYC is difficult and expensive which is why I want to move outside of the city for my future investments. My plan is as follows... I want to purchase here in NYC because I know that the mortgage will get paid via my tenants. Once I accomplish that, I plan to move outside, posibly Florida and the property in NYC will finance both itself and the second property which will be much more affordable. I will not quit my job just yet as they are willing to give me a transfer to any place I like to move, so I plan to use it to finance additional properties. I want to take it one step at a time as I continue to learn more and I really want to get started with at least this first purchase asap.

Hey guys, I've been listening to the podcast every moment I can, but couldn't get myself to officially get started. Something recently changed when I created a plan. This plan involves is to start with my first multi family owner occupied residential home in the next couple of weeks. However, I have talked to a few real estate agents who are telling me its impossible to find what I am searching for. Finding a 3 family home with some equality cannot be so difficult. Does anyone have advice to how to start my hunt?
