Does anyone have suggestions on how to download sales data in a specific region with buyer and seller agents attached to each listing? Redfin has a good download feature, but does not include agents. I'm not an agent so don't have access to the MLS. Appreciate any suggestions you have!

@Dave Foster@Paul Moore Thank you both for the answers, really appreciate it. It sounds like this will be possible, given our situation.

The original property is worth approximately $300k, and the replacement property is valued at $1M. We would roll the equity from the original property into the seller financed mortgage on the replacement property, and obviously the replacement property is worth more than the original. The seller of the replacement is also ok with a lower down payment, so we have the potential to 1031 into this larger property without any cash outlay due to the equity in the original property.

Thanks for the reply @Alex Olson. My wife and my name are on the title of the old property, and the owner of the current property will be signing over title to us, carrying paper, and we'll be paying him monthly mortgage payments. Essentially, our names would be on the title of each. Hope that clarifies the situation.

Hi BP!

I own a vacation rental property that I'm looking to sell to free up cash. I have an opportunity to buy another, more expensive property and the current owner of the property we'd like to purchase is offering seller financing.

My question: Could we use a 1031 exchange and buy the new property using seller financing? Are there any legal or tax implications we should be aware of?

Really appreciate your advice!
